The Red Wolves have officially become perennial powers in the Sun Belt. Arkansas State has won at least a share of the Sun Belt Championship and can win the title outright should they beat Texas State next Saturday.

I considered opening with, "Proving you don't need to be a winner to win," but that would take away from the fact that Chris Warren III really was quite amazing on Thanksgiving. Texas may have not gotten the win, but you know the future is bright for the Horns with players like Warren. The freshman running back broke records and ended up being named the Big 12 player of the week for offense. University of Toledo vice-president & athletic director Mike O'Brien announced that assistant head coach/defensive coordinator Jon Heacock will serve as the Rockets' interim head football coach, replacing Matt Campbell who was named the new head coach at Iowa State University today. O'Brien said that a national search for Campbell's permanent replacement will begin immediately.

South Carolina men's basketball will play host to Western Carolina on Monday night, continuing a four-game homestand. The Gamecocks look to extend their win streak to seven games vs. the Catamounts. Monday's matchup marks the first between the two schools since the 2011-12 season, and the ninth overall in the series.
