No. 10 Texas Tech baseball closes its first home stand of the season with a two-game midweek series against Texas Southern, starting Tuesday at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

The Red Raiders (3-3) and Tigers (0-7) announced an adjusted schedule for the series Sunday evening that features a 3 p.m. first pitch on Tuesday and a 1 p.m. start on Wednesday. Due to the rescheduled Red Raider men's basketball game on Tuesday, only Wednesday's game will be available on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

Red Raider fans can listen to the radio call for both games on the Texas Tech Sports Network and follow along pitch-by-pitch via live stats on www.TexasTech.com.

Fans are encouraged to check www.TexasTech.com for ticket availability for upcoming home games. Season ticket holders who are unable to attend a game in which they have tickets are encouraged to utilize Texas Tech's mobile ticketing transfer platform to ensure their seats are used on gameday.

This will be the first midweek matchup of the season for the Red Raiders. Tech enters the series with a 69-33 record in midweek games under head coach Tim Tadlock, including a 43-10 mark at home.

Texas Tech owns a 15-game home winning streak dating back to the 2019 Lubbock Super Regional. Tech went 11-0 at home in the COVID-shortened season and is off to a 3-0 start this season. Including the 2019 Lubbock Regional, Tech has won 20 consecutive home games against teams outside the Big 12.

Defensively, the Red Raiders committed only one error on the weekend while the pitching staff walked just five batters and struck out 24.

The Tigers suffered a sweep at Incarnate Word over the weekend on top of a 20-0 loss at TCU in their midweek. The Tigers were outscored 41-12 by UIW over the three-game set.
