Old Dominion University men's basketball hits the road for the first time this season to take on James Madison on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. in Harrisonburg.

ODU and JMU are 1-0 on the season, as ODU defeated Virginia Wesleyan 80-60 on Wednesday night, while JMU beat Carlow (Pa.) 135-40.

Kalu Ezikpe led the charge for the Monarchs, scoring 21 points with 12 rebounds. C.J. Keyser added 16 points and four assists, and Jaylin Hunter had 12 points and four assists.

ODU snapped a two-game losing streak in season openers, and is now 5-3 in season lid-lifters in the Jeff Jones era.

James Madison was led by Jalen Hodge, who scored 21 points and was 5-of-8 beyond the arc. Hodge led six Dukes in double figures, and every JMU player that played scored.

JMU is coached by Mark Byington, who is in his second season. JMU was 13-7 last season and won the CAA regular season. The Dukes lost to Elon in the CAA quarterfinals, 72-71.

ODU is 22-7 all-time against the Dukes and 9-4 in Harrisonburg.
