TCU will play Cal on Friday, Nov. 25 in its first game of the Emerald Coast Classic presented by Global Sports, at Raider Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Fla.

The Horned Frogs and the Golden Bears will meet at 8:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network, following the game between Clemson and Iowa at 6 p.m. The winners of each game will play for the championship at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 and will be televised on CBS Sports Network. The third-place game will be played on Nov. 26 at 3 p.m.

Cal leads the all-time series with TCU, 2-0. The last meeting came on Nov. 18, 1999 in Fairbanks, Alaska at the Top of the World Classic.

In association with the multiple team event, TCU will host Louisiana Monroe on Nov. 17 at Schollmaier Arena.

TCU won the Emerald Coast Classic in 2017, defeating New Mexico in the first game and St. Bonaventure in the championship. LSU defeated Wake Forest to win last season's tournament.

Under head coach Jamie Dixon, TCU has won four of the six mid-season tournaments it has played in and holds a 11-2 record in those games. The Frogs competed at the SoCal Challenge last season in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Previous tournament championships have included the Global Sports Classic (2016), the Diamond Head Classic (2018) and the Hall of Fame Classic (2020).

This past season, TCU finished with a record of 21-13 overall and 8-10 with a fifth-place finish in the Big 12. The Horned Frogs return all five starters from last season's team which made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 35 seasons.
