When you're in a conference with the Texas Longhorns, one thing is certain, you will get stabbed in the back at some point, because there is no such thing as conference loyalty or respect when it comes to the University of Texas. So it was no surprise when the Longhorns decided to poach TCU athletic director Chris Del Conte, because that's what UT does to conference mates.

The last of the five All-America squads that make up the NCAA's consensus team was released Wednesday morning, and it includes four repeat Oklahoma names. The American Football Coaches Association named tight end Mark Andrews, offensive lineman Orlando Brown and quarterback Baker Mayfield first-team All-Americans, and senior linebacker/defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo a second-team All-American.

College finals are done and the Bulls can now put their studies behind them, at least for winter break, and put a heavy focus on the Birmingham Bowl where Charlie Strong and company will take on Kliff Kingsbury's Texas Tech Red Raiders.

It's no secret that the 2017 college football season didn't exactly go to plan for first-year head coach Matt Rhule and his Baylor football team with only one win coming during the season, a 38-9 victory over Kansas. There were a lot of close calls and near misses, but there is no such thing as a good loss - unless you're Texas, winner of the Big 12's Moral Victory Championship three years running.
