One day our descendants will be sitting around the campfire telling tall tales about great American folklore legends: Paul Bunyan, John Henry, Pecos Bill…and Mike Gundy. He is as orange as the polo he wears on the sidelines. He hunts doves and turtles instead of watching game film. His trusty sidekick is his mullet.

Rumors spread on Tuesday that the mullet was in extreme danger. Gundy’s son Gavin, thankfully, set the record straight that the fashionable coach did not trim his mullet into a rat tail.
