Indiana redshirt senior Spencer Glass has been named one of 30 NCAA men's soccer candidates for the Senior CLASS Award.

An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

The field will be narrowed down to 10 finalists later in the season, and those names will be placed on the official ballot. The Senior CLASS Award winners will be announced during the 2021 NCAA Men's College Cup in December.

A two-time All-Big Ten selection, Glass has started in seven of Indiana's eight matches during his second redshirt senior season and helped produce three clean sheets. Glass has scored nine goals and delivered 21 assists during his five seasons as a Hoosier.

The two-time team captain has distinguished himself as a leader on the pitch, in the classroom and in the community. Glass is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished scholar and four-time All-Big Ten Academic Team selection.

The Fort Wayne, Indiana, native has served the Boys and Girls Club and Read Across America and is a member of Indiana's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
