Three days after scoring a career-high 28 points in a win over Tulsa, Martin, the University of Memphis's junior guard, dropped in 31 points to set a new mark and lead the Tigers to a 96-89 American Athletic Conference victory over Tulane. Martin's effort helped the U of M to improve to 11-6 overall and 2-2 in AAC play.

Nebraska fans have been desperately hoping that UCF's quarterback would transfer out of Orlando and come play in Lincoln so the Huskers could see some of the brilliant offense that Knights fans saw all season.

Nick Madrigal, the reigning Pac-12 Conference Player and Defensive Player of the Year, has been named a preseason All-American for the second time leading up to the 2018 season. He was selected to the First Team by Perfect Game, which released its three teams on Tuesday.
