Boston College and Providence close out the three-game regular season series on Friday, Jan. 12 at Kelley Rink. This marks the first closure of BC's four three-game Hockey East series. With the departure of Notre Dame, Hockey East has had each team play four other programs three times. For the Eagles, those four teams are Providence, UConn, Lowell and Maine.

Boston College suffered its most lopsided defeat of the season, falling 96-66 at #20/18 North Carolina on Tuesday night.

The Eagles connected on their first two 3-pointers of the game and led 6-2. But UNC scored 10 unanswered points en route to a 16-1 run, taking control with an 18-7 lead with 12:06 left in the first half. BC would counter and cut it to six (18-12) before an 15-5 Tar Heel push made it a 16-point advantage for the home team (33-17). Carolina led 50-35 at the break.

Legendary Boston College head hockey coach and athlete Len Ceglarski, winner of 419 games as head coach on The Heights and member of the 1949 national championship team, passed away Saturday morning, December 16, 2017. He was 91 years old.

Ky Bowman led the Eagles with a game and season-high 30 points and 10 rebounds while Jerome Robinson added 24 points and Jordan Chatman 18 as Boston College upset No. 1 Duke, 89-85. In front of a sellout crowd of 8,606 at Conte Forum.

Sophomore goaltender Joseph Woll was awarded Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, Nov. 20, after racking up a pair of victories and turning in the save of the season thus far.
