One shot was the difference Thursday night (March 23) as third-seeded Oregon outlasted the seventh-seeded University of Michigan men's basketball by a score of 69-68 in an NCAA Tournament round of 16 game at the Sprint Center.

The No. 11 seed Xavier Musketeers (24-13, 9-9 BIG EAST) used a 9-0 run to erase a seven-point deficit to the No. 2 seed Arizona Wildcats in the final three minutes of the NCAA West Regional Semifinal to advance to the Elite Eight for the third time in program history. The Wildcats finish the season at 32-5 overall and 16-2 in Pac 12 play.

Kansas basketball advanced to the Elite Eight for the second-straight season with a 98-66 victory over No. 4 seed Purdue on Thursday night at Sprint Center in the NCAA Championship Midwest Regional Semifinal.

The culture surrounding TCU basketball has changed drastically in the first season under head coach Jamie Dixon. Proof of that came when Kenrich Williams recorded the first triple-double in the history of the TCU basketball program to help lift the Horned Frogs over the Richmond Spiders, 86-68, and advance to the Final Four of the NIT - another first for the program.

The Cowboys held Missouri-Kansas City to 34 percent from the field and 16 points below their season scoring average in a 72-61 win over the Kangaroos in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational presented by Five Four on Monday evening in the Arena-Auditorium. The Cowboys will now host Utah Valley on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the semifinals.
