No more silly Friday night games. No more silly non-conference contests. The week seven slate of Big Ten action is six Saturday games pitting conference foes against each other. Now, not all six games are must-see TV, but at least no one in the B1G is playing Charleston Southern this week.

We are now a month into the college football season. Some Big Ten teams have already played five games. And a month in, if there is any question where the balance of power lies in the B1G… there shouldn’t be.

Welcome to week four of the college football season. Friday is the official beginning of fall (don’t listen to meteorologists who tell you September 1st is when autumn starts), but it won’t feel like it for much of Big Ten country. Temperatures are heating up, and so is the competition with the first week of multiple conference matchups.
