Rice's 2016 Football Schedule is Perfect for Night Owls

Fans of Rice Football will have equal opportunities to watch the Owls during the day or at night in 2016 as the Owls have released their start times for each of their six games at Rice Stadium this year.

The Owls will open their 2016 home slate under the Friday Night Lights when they host Baylor at 7 p.m. on September 16 in a game that will also feature the debut of Rice Stadium's spectacular new video board and sound system. The game with the Bears was moved to Friday night to accommodate a national broadcast on ESPN.

The Owls follow the next week with a 5 p.m. kickoff with North Texas on September 24. Two weeks later, UTSA comes to town for a 6 p.m. contest as part of Rice's annual Families Weekend which will also mark the Owls debut on beIN, one of Conference USA's new broadcast partners.
