Hunter Duplessis drilled a 42-yard field goal as time expired to lead UTSA to a 31-28 win at Memphis, the largest comeback in program history, on Saturday afternoon at the Liberty Bowl.

Duplessis drilled a 42-yarder as the clock hit zero to complete the comeback win, which saw UTSA trail for the first time in 2021, 21-0 after the first quarter. UTSA outscored Memphis 31-7 and outgained the Tigers 399-230 over the final three quarters to snap a 17-game home winning streak for Memphis.

UTSA got a school-record 42 carries and 184 yards out of junior Sincere McCormick, who rushed for three scores.

UTSA will return to action on Saturday, hosting UNLV in the non-conference finale at the Alamodome, live on ESPN+ and Ticket 760 AM.
