Mizzou football (2-3, 0-2 SEC) hosts North Texas (1-3, 0-2 C-USA) for the 110th Homecoming celebration at Missouri on Saturday, Oct. 9. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. at Memorial Stadium with the matchup airing on SEC Network.

SERIES VS. NORTH TEXAS

• The Tigers and the Mean Green have played just once, during the 1995 season. Mizzou won 28-7 in Columbia.

LAST TIME OUT: MIZZOU
With a 17-yard reception in the first quarter, Tyler Badie, became the first player in Mizzou football history to surpass 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards. Badie ended the day with 1,594 yards career rushing and 1,022 receiving. Badie's total included 21 carries for 41 yards and three receptions for 27 yards, proving to be a bright spot for the Tigers who defensively struggled to keep Tennessee off the board. Harrison Mevis continued his consistency with his 14th-consecutive made field goal, knocking in one from 43 yards in the first-quarter. The Tigers additional first half offense came on the second-quarter TD run by Badie.

LAST TIME OUT: NORTH TEXAS
Week 5 was a bye for the Mean Green. On Sat., Sept. 25, the North Texas defense pitched a second-half shutout against Louisiana Tech but a late rally fell short in a 24-17 loss to the Bulldogs. The Mean Green trailed 24-0 with 10 minutes left in the first half before DeAndre Torrey's 3-yard touchdown run with 34 seconds left in the half got UNT on the board and sent the game to the halftime break at 24-7. It was Torrey's 27th career rushing touchdown, which moved him into a tie for fifth on the program's all-time list with Jamario Thomas (2004-07).

IN THE ZONE
• Mizzou is one of just nine teams in the country that has scored in every trip to the red zone this season. The Tigers have 15 touchdowns and two field goals in their 17 trips to the red zone.
• The Tigers have scored touchdowns on 88.2 percent of their trips to the red zone, giving Mizzou the best touchdown efficiency among the nine teams with perfect red zone marks.
• Mizzou has seven rushing touchdowns and eight passing touchdowns inside the 20 this season.
• The Tigers are one of two SEC teams which are perfect in the red zone in 2021, joined by LSU who has converted on each of its 14 possessions.

ONE & ONLY: TYLER BADIE
• With his 17-yard reception against Tennessee, senior running back Tyler Badie became the first Mizzou Tiger in program history to reach 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in his career. He became the first SEC player to reach the mark since Kentucky wide receiver Lynn Bowden, Jr., did so in 2019.
• Badie is also the first Tiger to record 10 rushing touchdowns and 10 receiving touchdowns in his career. He currently has 15 rushing touchdowns and 10 receiving touchdowns.
• The senior is averaging 133.2 all-purpose yards this season, good for 22nd nationally and first in the SEC.
• Badie ranks fourth in the country with 54 points scored, a mark that also leads the SEC alongside LSU's Kayshon Boutte. His 10.8 ppg also ranks fourth nationally and co-leads the SEC.
• Badie's nine total touchdowns on the season rank fourth in the country and are tied for the SEC lead.
• Badie leads the SEC with six rushing touchdowns on the season. He has a touchdown in each of the first five games this season. He is the first Tiger since Jeremy Maclin in 2007 to record four rushing and receiving touchdowns in a season.
• His 203-yard performance in the season opener was the first by a Tiger since Larry Rountree went for 204 in Dec. 2018 against Oklahoma State. The 203 rushing yards were the 15th most in Mizzou history.
• Badie surpassed the 2,000-yard mark in all-purpose rushing yards and the 2,500-yard plateau in overall all-purpose yards in the season opener against Central Michigan.
• At Kentucky, Badie hauled in a career-best 10 receptions for 88 yards. He became the first Tiger to catch 10 passes in a game since Emanuel Hall did so against Wyoming in 2018.
• His three total touchdowns, two rushing, one receiving, against SEMO marked a career high. Badie ranks 12th nationally in scoring with 36 points on the season. His three receiving touchdowns are 16th nationally.

KAD ALL THE WAY
• Kris Abrams-Draine produced a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Tennessee. It was the first kickoff return touchdown for Mizzou since 2014 when Marcus Murphy housed a 96-yard return at Florida.
• The 100-yard return was just the fifth 100-yarder in program history and the first of its kind since Oct. 30, 1976 when receiver Joe Stewart went endzone-to-endzone against Oklahoma State.
• Abrams-Draine is one of 20 players to take a kickoff back for a touchdown this season.

GOOD ON THIRD
• Mizzou ranks sixth in the country on third downs, converting 52.2 percent of the time.
• The Tigers' conversion rate ranks second in the SEC, behind only Alabama at 52.3 percent.

HOLD ON TO THAT FOOTBALL
• Mizzou is one of just 10 teams in the country which has yet to lose a fumble this season.
• The Tigers have put the ball on the ground just once all season, coming in week two at Kentucky.

MEVIS MAGIC
• Sophomore kicker Harrison Mevis has made 14 consecutive field goals, ranking third nationally and second in the SEC.
• Mevis started his season with a bang, drilling a 53-yard field goal in the waning seconds of the first half to give Mizzou a lead over Central Michigan. The kick was a then-career-long from Mevis and had plenty of leg to spare.
• He was equally impressive at Boston College, hitting a career-long 56-yard boot to send the game to overtime.
• Mevis is now 5-for-6 in his career from beyond 50 yards through his 12 collegiate games. His 56-yarder is the national leader.
• He is one of just two Tigers in program history to make five or more kicks of 50+ yards, joining Tom Whelihan (6, 1984-87).
