Toledo senior quarterback Logan Woodside (Frankfort, Ky.) was one of 20 student-athletes who were named semifinalists for the 2017 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award today. The award honors the top quarterback from all divisions for his accomplishments both on and off the field. Woodside is the only quarterback from the Mid-American Conference to make the list.

With each new season, a distinctive identity or fitting watchword used to describe a team naturally emerges. As practice is officially underway for the 2017-18 season for the Central Michigan men's basketball team, depth appears to be the hallmark of this squad.
