Oklahoma State shut out New Mexico for the second-straight day and got plenty of offensive production throughout the lineup as the 18th-ranked Cowboys handed the Lobos a 13-0 loss Wednesday at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

The Cowboys host Eastern Washington in the first round of the College Basketball Invitation Presented by Five-Four on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium. It is the first meeting between the schools since they met in the 2003 NIT with UW winning 78-71 in Laramie.

The No. 7 Cowboys were held scoreless for the first eight minutes of the game, which in turn saw No. 10 Air Force open the contest going 9-of-13 from the field on their way to a 83-68 win over Wyoming on Wednesday afternoon in First Round of the MW Championship in the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The Cowboys opened the contest going 0-of-9 from the field, as UW falls to 18-14 overall.

The Cowboys begin their quest for an NCAA Tournament berth and conference title this week at the Mountain West Championship. The Pokes are the No. 7 seed and open the tournament on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. MT, against No. 10 Air Force.

The Cowboys erased a 16-point deficit and took a 76-75 lead on a Justin James three pointer with 17 seconds remaining, but Colorado State guard Prentiss Nixon answered with a triple of his own with five seconds left to give the Rams the 78-76 win on Tuesday evening in Moby Arena in Fort Collins, Colo. Wyoming falls to 17-13 on the season and 7-10 in the MW with the Rams moving to 21-9 overall in the 13-4 in the league.
