Coastal Carolina junior Evan Rabon was named the Sun Belt Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his effort in the Chanticleers' 13-7 win at Idaho, the league announced today. It marks the second time this season Rabon has received the weekly honor.

The American Athletic Conference still stands as the only league in the country to have three teams with one loss or less and the Knights still sit undefeated, reaching 10-0 and looking ahead to this weekend's War on I-4 which has the USF Bulls visiting Orlando for the biggest game in the state of Florida.

Yellow Jackets football fell to 5-5 overall and finished 4-4 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. Tech dropped to 0-5 away from home this season.

The ECU football team used a dominant effort on both sides of the ball to beat visiting Cincinnati 48-20 on Saturday at Bagwell Field inside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

Iowa State won its fourth road game in five tries on Saturday, knocking off Baylor, 23-13. The Cyclones held the Bears to three second-half points and forced two turnovers to clinch the victory.
