Mizzou Football lost a hard-fought, 26-16 contest in the 2017 Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl Wednesday night (Dec. 27) at NRG Stadium. Mizzou fumbled twice, one resulting in a scoop-and-score, and allowed a safety as turnovers and mistakes plagued the Tigers in the loss.

The Liberty Bowl is officially sold out, meaning the Memphis Tigers will be playing their bowl game in front of a packed house, plus Mizzou players are pinning their bowl loss to Texas on their former offensive coordinator leaving to take the UCF head coaching job.

Kansas State rushed for a team bowl record 344 yards, including a K-State individual bowl game-high 158 from quarterback Alex Delton, and used 28 unanswered second-half points to rush past UCLA for a Cactus Bowl crown late Tuesday night at Chase Field. Delton came off the bench and took his first touch to the house for 68 yards, the first of three rushing touchdowns and four total scores the Cactus Bowl Offensive MVP.

Entering the 2017 football season, expectations were high for those outside the Wolfpack program. And like every year, the expectations of those inside the program were even higher.

The holidays have come and gone and the Miami Hurricanes are back and focused on football.
