UCLA (4-5, 2-4) returns to the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 11 to play host to Arizona State (5-4,4-2) at 6:30 p.m. PT in the Veteran and Armed Forces Appreciation Game. The game will be televised by the Pac-12 Network.

UCLA owns an 8-7-1 advantage in the series games played in the Rose Bowl. However, the Sun Devils have captured three of the last four meetings in the series, including the last two played in Pasadena. Four of the last six series meetings, two wins by each team, have been decided by five points or less --- 2016: ASU wins 23-20, 2013: ASU wins 38-33, 2012: UCLA wins 45-43, 2011: UCLA wins 29-28. Neither team has been able to win more than two games in a row in the series since UCLA captured three straight in the 2000, 2001, 2003 seasons.

In last year's meeting in Tempe, Josh Rosen registered his first career 400-yard passing effort. However, UCLA had four turnovers for the contest and missed on a couple of scoring opportunities in the first half. Rosen left in the first half with a lower body injury, but returned in the third quarter to throw touchdown passes to Jordan Lasley and Nate Iese. A shoulder injury sent him to the sidelines in the fourth quarter after he completed 24 of 43 passing attempts. Sun Devil Zane Gonzalez kicked three field goals to become the NCAA's all-time leader and ASU grinded out a 23-20 victory.
