Oregon State Battles LSU in the CWS Monday Night

Oregon State takes on LSU Monday night at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb. First pitch at the College World Series is slated for 4:05 p.m. PT (6:05 p.m. in Omaha).

Oregon State is 57-33 all-time in the NCAA postseason, including 14-8 in College World Series games. Head coach Pat Casey is 52-21 overall and holds a mark of 14-6 in games played in Omaha.

Last Game
Adley Rutschman drove in the game-winning run in the eighth after OSU scored four in the sixth inning to send the Beavers to a 6-5 win over Cal State Fullerton Saturday night at TD Ameritrade Park. Jack Anderson tied the game with a single in the sixth after Trevor Larnach had drove in two. Drew Rasmussen picked up his second save of the season.

This Is Correct, For Real
Jake Mulholland held the Titans scoreless for 4 1/3 innings Saturday and has not allowed an earned run in non-conference play. He is 3-0 with 15 hits allowed in 31 1/3 innings, striking out 29 to just six walks.

One More Ties The School Record
The Beavers are threatening to tie their school record for consecutive wins, which was set earlier this year. The Beavers are currently at 22 victories, and are two shy of matching the Pac-12 record of 24 set by Arizona State in 2010.

Didn't Score First, But
Saturday's game versus the Titans was the rare game where OSU didn't score first. Opponents have now scored first in 16 games (27 percent of our 59 games played). The Beavers are 13-3 when that happens.

Highest GPA
Oregon State's team cumulative 3.30 grade point average is the highest among the eight teams playing at the College World Series.

First Time Trailing
The Beavers trailed for the first time this postseason until tying Cal State Fullerton at five in the sixth. Oregon State has now outscored opponents 50-14 in the 2017 postseason.

Singles
• The Beavers are playing a rare game on Monday. It's just the second time they've done so, the first coming against Indiana Feb. 20 in Surprise, Ariz., a 4-1 win.
• Oregon State overcame a four-run deficit for the second this year on Saturday. The Beavers had trailed by four to Abilene Christian before winning 5-4.
• OSU improved its winning percentage to .932 this season.
