Dylan Kropp was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week. Cole Jensen was also named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Both players started and played all 90 minutes in both matches last week. The Musketeers went 1-0-1 last week (T, 0-0 at St. John's on Oct. 5; W, 2-1 at Villanova on Oct. 8) and remained unbeaten on the year (8-0-4, 2-0-3 BIG EAST).

Kropp helped the defense limit St. John's to only four shots (one on goal) and helped the Musketeers post their BIG EAST leading seventh shutout of the season vs the Red Storm. Xavier limited Villanova to only eight shots (four on goal) and only two shots (zero on goal) in the second half to help the Musketeers engineer the 2-1 comeback win.
