It was announced on Friday that Texas Tech and Ole Miss will meet in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff to begin the 2018 season in Houston's NRG Stadium. Tech is becoming quite familiar with the Houston area as the Advocare Kickoff will be the Red Raiders third trip to the city of Houston over a four-year span with the Double T traveling to face the University of Houston this fall and having lost in the 2015 AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl.
