For the second straight year, Georgia Tech’s men’s basketball team will tip off its Atlantic Coast Conference schedule against North Carolina, visiting the 2022 national runner-up Tar Heels on Dec. 10 at the Dean Smith Center. It is the first of three conference games the Yellow Jackets will play in December, the other two against Clemson and Virginia at home around the holiday break.

UCLA's season-opening homestand concludes Saturday, as the Bruins host South Alabama in a non-conference battle on Spieker Field at Rose Bowl Stadium, to be televised by Pac-12 Network. UCLA will open its conference schedule next week, on Sept. 24 (11 a.m. PT), at Colorado before returning to Pasadena, Calif. for Pac-12 home games against Washington, on Sept. 30, and Utah, on Oct. 8.

The Southeastern Conference announced today that it has directed the University of Georgia and the University of Tennessee to postpone scheduled football games versus Oklahoma because the transition of Oklahoma into the SEC will not allow for the involved institutions to fulfill their respective contractual non-conference home-and-home appearance obligations.
