Former Illini defensive lineman Antonio James has been named the Illinois football program's assistant defensive line coach, head coach Bret Bielema announced. James joins the Fighting Illini from Southern Illinois, where he spent the last two seasons as assistant head coach/defensive coordinator for the Salukis.
