NCAA Basketball Tournaments To Remain At 68 Teams For 2026, As Future Expansion Talks Continue

(BCSNN) — The NCAA announced Monday that the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments will remain at 68 teams for the 2026 season, shelving expansion proposals that had gained momentum in recent months. The decision was confirmed by NCAA senior vice president of basketball Dan Gavitt, who said the committees “will continue conversations” about expanding to 72 or 76 teams in future years.

(BCSNN) — Alabama safety Keon Sabb is back on the practice field and ahead of schedule in his recovery from a broken foot that ended his 2024 season prematurely. Sabb, who transferred to Tuscaloosa from Michigan, suffered the injury during the Crimson Tide’s 24–17 loss to Tennessee on Oct. 19 and underwent surgery shortly thereafter. He missed the final six games of the season and sat out all of spring practice.
