The third-ranked Texas Longhorns used a seven-run third inning to cruise to a 10-3 victory over Ohio State at Daikin Park on Sunday afternoon.

Texas (11-0) and UTSA were the lone two programs in the six-team field to win all three of its games in the BRUCE BOLT College Classic, but the Longhorns posted a tournament-best plus-17 run differential to earn the crown.

In its classic finale, Texas raced out to an early 7-0 lead, highlighted by a two-run homer from Temo Beccera. Beccera's blast marked his third in as many contests, doubling his career home run total. The redshirt senior finished 6-for-12 with six RBI across the weekend.

Becerra's heroics punctuated the season-best seven-run frame, as the Longhorns sent 12 batters to the plate in the third.

Ethan Mendoza and Aiden Robbins added run-scoring singles before Adrian Rodriguez laced an opposite-field RBI double to balloon the advantage to five

Three pitches later, Becerra found the iconic Crawford Boxes in left field once again.

Dylan Volantis and Texas' bullpen took care of the rest, limiting the Buckeyes (5-5) to three runs on six hits.

Brett Crossland (1-0) picked up his first collegiate win in relief of Volantis, who struck out eight over 4 2/3 innings of one-run baseball.

Crossland, Brody Walls and Cal Higgins each punched out a pair, with the trio combining to pitch the final 4 1/3 frames.

With the victory, the Longhorns won their 11th straight contest, matching their best start to a season in four years.

Texas will look to extend its winning streak on Tuesday, as the Longhorns welcome in-state foe Houston Christian to UFCU Disch-Falk Field. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
