The Troy men's basketball program, led by head coach Scott Cross announced Tuesday afternoon the addition of Tayton Conerway from Ranger College to the 2023-24 roster.

"Tayton is a super talented guard out of Ranger College that can really score but also creates great shots for his teammates with his passing ability Tayton is a very explosive athlete that can pass, dribble, shoot and defend at a very high level," Cross said. "He has played three years of college basketball, so he will bring some added experience and leadership to our roster. Tayton helped lead Ranger College to a 27-8 record and a trip to the NJCAA National Championships in Hutchinson, Kansas."

The 6-3 guard played 35 games in the 2022-23 season, where he started four.
