The Wake Forest men's basketball program and head coach Steve Forbes have announced the addition of undergraduate transfer Hunter Sallis to the squad beginning in the fall of 2023.

Sallis will join the Deacs from Gonzaga and have two years of eligibility remaining.

"Hunter Sallis is an outstanding all-around player. He is terrific with the ball in his hands. He can make plays for himself, and he can make plays for his teammates in transition or in the half court off the drive or the ball screen. His length, speed, and quickness allow him to guard any perimeter player on the court, making him an elite defender. We are so excited to welcome Hunter and his family to Wake Forest." - head coach Steve Forbes
