The University of South Florida men's basketball team is embarking on an exciting new chapter as they prepare for their inaugural trip to The Bahamas for the renowned Battle 4 Atlantis.
This prestigious tournament will occur at Atlantis Paradise Island from November 26-28, 2025.
"This is one of the premier early-season tournaments in college basketball, and it's a tremendous opportunity for our program to compete on a national stage against elite competition. This year's field is loaded — four of the eight teams in this tournament played in the 2025 NCAA Tournament," said Coach Bryan Hodgson. "Being selected for the Battle 4 Atlantis is a testament to the momentum we're building here at USF and reflects the trajectory of our program."
Under the guidance of head coach Bryan Hodgson, USF will make its first trip to this tropical paradise. Previously, USF has enjoyed international exposure with trips to the picturesque Cayman Islands and the vibrant atmosphere of Jamaica for season contests.
South Florida will face diverse teams, including Colorado State, VCU, Saint Mary's, Western Kentucky, and Wichita State, creating a thrilling basketball experience for players and fans alike. Colorado State, Saint Mary's, Vanderbilt, and VCU all reached the NCAA Tournament. Saint Mary's was the only program ranked in the final NCAA rankings, coming in at No. 24.
