(BCSNN) — It was a big night for Christian Coleman and company, with the senior guard scoring 16 points to lead five players in double figures as Oklahoma State cruised past Texas A&M 87–63 on Sunday in a non-conference matchup between power conference programs.

Vyctorius Miller and Isaiah Coleman both contributed 15 points apiece, while Jaylen Curry chipped in 12, and Parsa Fallah added another 10 for the Pokes (2–0), who shot 66.7% over the first 10 minutes of the second half to blow open a 14-point halftime lead.

Oklahoma State led 43–29 at the break and extended the margin to 71–46 with 9:30 remaining. A 7–0 run late in the game gave the Cowboys their largest lead at 87–59.

Isaiah Coleman also grabbed nine rebounds and led a bench unit that contributed 26 first-half points. The Cowboys committed just one turnover in the opening half and forced five Aggie giveaways in the first five minutes after halftime. Oklahoma State finished with nine turnovers to Texas A&M’s 15.

Marcus Hill was the lone Aggie in double figures with 14 points. Texas A&M (2–1) shot just 32% from the field and 9-of-35 from three-point range.

The Cowboys’ revamped roster features 12 newcomers, including seven Division I transfers who averaged more than 94 combined points last season. That depth was on full display Sunday, as Oklahoma State controlled the paint, the tempo, and the scoreboard.

Coming up on the horizon, Oklahoma State faces Oklahoma on Dec. 13 in the Bedlam basketball rivalry. Meanwhile, Texas A&M will try to manage a win with the Aggies facing three ACC opponents between Nov. 28 and Dec. 7.
