(BCSNN) - Baylor men’s basketball put on a show for Future Bears Day, defeating Norfolk State 97–67 Wednesday afternoon at Foster Pavilion.

The Bears (7–2) showcased their depth with six players in double figures: Cameron Carr (19), Obi Agbim (18), Tounde Yessoufou (17), Caden Powell (16), Michael Rataj (11), and Dan Skillings Jr. (11). Carr led the way with a career-high four blocks and a 9-of-11 shooting performance, becoming the first Baylor player with four blocks in a game since Yves Missi in 2023.

Powell, a Waco native, posted a season-high 16 points along with seven rebounds, while Agbim tied his season-high with 18 points and added five assists. Isaac Williams IV dished out a season-best seven assists, helping Baylor record 23 total assists — also a season high.

The Bears dominated defensively, rejecting 10 shots, their most since 2019 against TCU. Offensively, Baylor electrified the crowd with 11 dunks, far surpassing their season average of 2.5 per game.

Baylor led 47–31 at halftime after closing the first half on an 8–0 run capped by a buzzer-beater from Williams. Agbim and Carr sparked the second half with a three-pointer and dunk, fueling a 15–3 run that put the game out of reach.

Norfolk State (4–7) briefly cut into the margin late, but Baylor’s balanced scoring and defensive presence sealed the 97–67 victory.

The Bears continue their homestand Friday, Dec. 19, against Alcorn State at Foster Pavilion.
