(BCSNN) — Senior point guard Milos Uzan scored 16 points as No. 10/7 Houston defeated Cincinnati 76-54 on Saturday afternoon at Fertitta Center, extending its streak to 38 straight wins over unranked opponents.

Houston (19-2, 7-1 Big 12) used a 16-5 run late in the first half to build a 32-18 lead on a jumper by Mercy Miller and never allowed the margin to slip below double digits. The Cougars led 32-20 at halftime and controlled the game throughout.

Emanuel Sharp, Chris Cenac Jr. and Isiah Harwell each added 13 points. Sharp, who now has 267 career three‑pointers, is within 10 of surpassing Marcus Sasser for the program record. Cenac scored all of his points in the first half on 5‑for‑7 shooting and tied his career high with three made threes.

Freshman point guard Kingston Flemings led all players with six assists, marking his 10th straight game with at least five. He now has 114 assists this season, becoming only the seventh Houston freshman to reach 100.

Houston won its 16th straight home game and its 14th consecutive meeting with Cincinnati (11-11, 3-6). The Cougars have won 49 of their last 50 home games and are 120-7 all‑time inside Fertitta Center.

Houston shot 46 percent from the field and 9‑for‑26 from three while forcing 19 turnovers, converting them into 26 points. Ranked second nationally in fewest turnovers per game, the Cougars committed only four and held a 26-8 edge in points in the paint.

Cincinnati was led by Jalen Celestine with 15 points and Keyshuan Tillery with 14. The Bearcats shot 38 percent overall and 10‑for‑23 from beyond the arc.

Following the game, Houston Vice President for Athletics Eddie Nuñez informed fans that head coach Kelvin Sampson will be inducted into the Houston Athletics Hall of Honor later this fall.
