(BCSNN) — No. 22 Miami continued the nation’s last undefeated run Friday night, and did it so with the kind of steadiness that has defined a season without a single misstep. Luke Skaljac scored a career‑high 24 points and the RedHawks led for more than 36 minutes in a 91–77 win over Bowling Green before a crowd of 10,127 at Millett Hall.
Miami (27–0, 14–0 MAC) remains the only unbeaten team in Division I, a distinction that grows heavier each week - yet the RedHawks have shown no signs of wobbling. While even the top programs and "blue bloods" around the country have absorbed losses during off nights, Miami has simply refused to blink. Friday’s win extended the best start in MAC history and pushed the program’s home winning streak to 30 consecutive wins at home, tied with Duke for the longest active streak in the nation.
Eian Elmer added 21 points and a career‑high five steals, while Peter Suder and Antwone Woolfolk scored 10 apiece. Javontae Campbell led Bowling Green (16–12, 7–8) with 24 points.
Miami controlled the game early, using a series of mid‑range jumpers and perimeter shooting to build a 26–21 lead after 10 minutes. Skaljac and Suder powered a surge that pushed the margin to double digits, and Elmer’s three at the halftime horn sent the RedHawks into the break ahead 45–30.
Skaljac opened the second half with his fourth three‑pointer, and Miami’s offense continued to answer every Bowling Green push. When the Falcons cut the deficit to 59–51, the RedHawks responded with three straight threes from Almar Atlason, Skaljac and Elmer to restore control. Trey Perry added a pair of free throws and a deep three, and Elmer’s back‑to‑back triples put the game out of reach.
Miami finished with 13 made threes, matching its highest total in conference play. Skaljac and Elmer each hit five.
The RedHawks honored their senior class before the game, then delivered another performance that reinforced why their undefeated record is no fluke. Miami has not lost a conference game by more than three points in two seasons, and this year’s group has yet to show the kind of lapse that derails even elite teams.

Up Next
Can the RedHawks keep the nation's only undefeated win streak going? Only time will tell, but Miami absolutely deserves respect for what is has accomplished so far. Two more tests lay on the immediate horizon. Miami begins a road trip at Eastern Michigan on Feb. 24 before visiting Western Michigan on Feb. 27.
