(BCSNN) — No. 6 Iowa State closed its regular season with a commanding second‑half performance, turning a four‑point halftime deficit into an 86–65 win over Arizona State on Saturday at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones outscored ASU 49–24 after the break, fueled by a decisive 24–0 run that broke the game open.

Iowa State (25–6, 12–6 Big 12) forced 23 turnovers — 13 of them in the second half — and recorded a Big 12‑best 16 steals in the victory. The win also extended ISU’s home record to 49–3 over the last three seasons.

Five Cyclones scored in double figures. Seniors Joshua Jefferson and Tamin Lipsey each finished with 16 points. Jefferson added a team‑high seven rebounds, while Lipsey posted six assists and a season‑high six steals, the most he has recorded against a Big 12 opponent. Milan Momcilovic added 16 points on 4‑of‑9 shooting from deep, and reserves Jamarion Batemon and Dominykas Pleta contributed 13 and 11 points.

The victory secured Iowa State’s third straight season — and eighth overall — with at least 12 conference wins.
