Ousmane N’Diaye (OOSE-mahn EN-jye), a 6-foot-11 forward from Senegal, has signed an agreement to join Kentucky men’s basketball for the 2026-27 season, it was announcedy.
N’Diaye has experience playing across Europe including in Germany, Italy and Spain. His most recent team was Vanoli Cremona, which competes in Italy’s top division, Liga Basket Serie A, the same league which is currently home to Kentucky products Nate Sestina (2020) and Kyle Wiltjer (2012-13).
At Vanoli Cremona, N’Diaye is averaging 9.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 0.9 steals across 28 games played. He is shooting 40.7 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from 3-point range. N’Diaye scored a season-high 24 points, while also adding 11 rebounds, in a win over Trieste back in November. He had 12 points, a season-high 17 rebounds and three blocks against Varese in December. Overall, N’Diaye has scored in double figures in 15 of 27 games and has four double-doubles.
N’Diaye, who just recently turned 22-years-old, is one of five finalists for Liga Basket Serie A’s, “Best Under 22” player award this season.
Prior to Vanoli Cremona, N’Diaye played at several clubs in Spain including Baskonia, Granada, and Palencia. He began his career at Dragons Rhondorf in Germany.
N’Diaye has also been a part of Senegal’s national team, winning a bronze medal with his home nation at FIBA AfroBasket 2025. He was also on the roster for the first round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup African Qualifiers this past winter where he averaged 6.0 points and 5.3 rebounds across three games, helping lead Senegal to a 2-1 record.
