BOISE, Idaho — Boise State has agreed to terms and signed guard Lamar Washington, head coach Leon Rice announced.

Washington (6-4, 205 pounds) joins the Broncos after playing four collegiate seasons at Texas Tech (2022-24), Pacific (2024-25) and Georgia Tech (2025-26). He has appeared in 124 games (57 starts) in his career and averaged 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals.

In his senior season with the Yellow Jackets last year, Washington started 21-of-29 games played. Registering 9.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.5 steals, Washington was 1-of-20 players in men's college basketball to post averages of at least nine points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal.

As a junior, Washington averaged over 13 points, five rebounds and five assists per game. That season, he set Pacific's single-season assist record (191) and single-game assist mark (15).

A native of Portland, Ore., Washington concluded his high school career at Arizona Compass Prep, where he totaled 13.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists as a senior. Rated a four-star recruit by ESPN, Washington was named the 2021 Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year and Oregon Max Prep Player of the Year after his junior season.
