(BCSNN) — The Pac-12 Conference has finalized a television deal for the 2025 football season, partnering with CBS, ESPN, and The CW to broadcast all home games for its two remaining members, Oregon State and Washington State. The agreement ensures that nine games will air on The CW, while CBS and ESPN will each broadcast two games. This marks a significant step for the conference as it navigates its final season before expansion.
2025 Pac-12 Football Broadcast Highlights
- Maximum reach & national exposure - CBS and The CW will combine to broadcast 11 of the Pac-12’s 13 home games in 2025, reaching 100% of U.S. households via over-the-air broadcast networks.
- Pac-12 football returns to ESPN - After serving as longtime partners, Pac-12 football returns with two games featured nationally on ESPN in 2025 with Cal at Oregon State on Aug. 30 at 7:30p PT and Houston at Oregon State on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:30p PT (previously scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27).
- Kickoff times set ahead of the season - For Beavers and Cougars fans, all three networks and the Pac-12 have finalized kickoff times for all 13 home games in 2025, the earliest announcement of all kickoff times in modern history for both programs.
- Primetime matchups on CBS and Paramount+ - 2025 will see two Pac-12 home games on CBS and also stream live on Paramount+, including the 2025 Boeing Apple Cup at Gesa Field in Pullman on Sept. 20 (4:30p or 5:00p PT) and Washington State at Oregon State on Nov. 1 (4:30p or 5:00p PT).
- Continued growth with The CW - A total of nine Pac-12 home games will be featured across The CW in the league’s second year of the continued partnership, the network’s third year in sports, including Oregon State at Washington State on Nov. 29 (3:30p PT) - the second of two matchups in 2025’s home-and-home series between the two. In total, The CW will feature both Oregon State and Washington State five times in 2025.
- “New Pac-12” double feature on The CW - On Sept. 6, The CW will showcase a pair of future Pac-12 matchups as part of a tripleheader with Fresno State at Oregon State (12:30p PT) and San Diego State at Washington State (7:15p PT).

- Five of the top six most-watched football games on The CW (also, UNLV at Oregon State - 507k and Purdue at Oregon State - 452k).
- 11 games on The CW averaged 431k viewers (460k in nine games vs. FBS opponents).
- Two home games on FOX averaged 1.99m viewers (Oregon at Oregon State and Texas Tech at Washington State).
- Total viewership across all 13 home games on FOX and The CW averaged 671k.
- Washington State’s DIRECTV Holiday Bowl vs. Syracuse on FOX saw 2.93m viewers.

Last Fall, the Pac-12 along with Oregon State, Washington State and six leading universities and premier athletics departments, including Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State and Utah State, launched plans to create a new Pac-12 Conference. The New Pac-12: Looking Ahead
- Boise State earned a No. 3 overall seed in the first edition of the expanded College Football Playoff in 2024.
- Five of seven (71%) football programs have been featured in CFP Top 25 rankings over the past four seasons (Boise State, Fresno State, Oregon State, San Diego State and Washington State), one of only four conferences to have 70%-or-more of its programs ranked in the CFP Top 25 (based on conference membership composition as of the 2026-27 season).
- Six of seven (86%) football programs have been featured in the AP Top 25 over the past four seasons (also, Utah State) and four of seven in the last two seasons (Boise State, Fresno State, Oregon State and Washington State).
- Collective men's basketball strength across the eight programs over the past five seasons would have been the 4th-best conference based on average NET rankings.
- Seven of eight men’s basketball programs have made the Men’s NCAA Tournament since 2021, with two appearances in the National Championship game in that time.
- Spanning a three-week period from Sept. 12 - Oct. 7, 2024, the collective new Pac-12 saw over 20 million impressions and 830,000 engagements across the Pac-12’s and all eight members’ social media for the three expansion announcements.
