(BCSNN) -- The University of Iowa football team will play two Friday games during the 2026 season, the Big Ten Conference announced.

Iowa’s road game at Washington has been moved to Friday, Oct. 9, from Husky Stadium in Seattle. The primetime matchup will air nationally on FOX or FS1 at 8 p.m. CT. It will mark the Hawkeyes’ first game at Husky Stadium since 1963.

Iowa and Nebraska will continue their annual Black Friday tradition, meeting in Iowa City on Friday, Nov. 27. Game time and television details for that matchup, along with select other Iowa games, will be announced later this month by the conference and its network partners.
