TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Football offensive lineman Tristan Bounds has been selected to the 2026 Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List, the Football Writers Association of America announced.

The Outland Trophy is awarded annually to the nation's most outstanding interior lineman; Bounds is one of 21 offensive tackles named to the 68-player list.

Bounds, a sixth year player in his second season with the Wildcats, played in 10 games with eight starts at Arizona in 2025. In this 10 games he saw time in 628 offensive snaps and earned a season-long PFF grade of 72.3 — as part of that grade, Bounds earned an 80.3 pass blocking grade.

Prior to his time with the Wildcats, Bounds spent four seasons in the Big Ten Conference at Michigan, where he saw time in seven games with the Wolverines.

Bounds and the Wildcats begin the 2026 season on Saturday, Sept. 5 with a home game against Northern Arizona at Casino Del Sol Stadium in Tucson.
