According to Food and Wine , these foods best represent the states they're associated with. West Virginia's pick is spot-on, but the runner up should be a West Virginia hot dog. Also, these turds didn't alphabetize the list, so you'll have to Ctrl + F to find your respective state:

Louisiana: Gumbo or jambalaya
Runner up: Etouffée ("I feel like Louisiana is the only state where you could get 10 different answers and they'd all be correct.")

Indiana: Hoosier breaded pork tenderloin sandwich
Runner up: Sugar cream pie

Maryland: Crab feast with Old Bay seasoning
Runner up: Crab cakes

Wisconsin: Beer brats (with fried onions and sauerkraut options)
Runner up: Cheese curds

That's what I always think of first, red1. If it wasn't for this board, I don't know what I would think of after that.

Also, I have some questions about the runner ups in Nebraska and Kansas.
