Freshman Justin McLean named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week in week four. The Atlanta native earns the honor after scoring two goals in the Panthers Conference opener against James Madison to win the match.

The freshman is the first Panther to earn the honor this season. 

McLean scored his first goal in the second half to give the Panthers the lead. With four minutes left in the match McLean notched another goal for the game winner to clinch the victory. 

He now leads the Panthers in total assists, goals and points.  

McLean is ranked among the top in the nation in multiple categories including 18th in total assists (4) and 28th in total points (10). In the Sun Belt Conference McLean is second in total assists (4), second in total points (10), third in points per game (1.43), fifth in assists per game (0.57), and eighth in goals per game (0.43). 

The Panthers face No. 6 Kentucky this Saturday in downtown Atlanta. Kick is set for 7:00 p.m. and will air live on ESPN+.
