The University of Dayton men's soccer program and head coach Dennis Currier have signed eight more student-athletes for this fall campaign.

"We are excited to welcome this talented group of student-athletes to the University of Dayton," said head coach Dennis Currier. "They have all the potential to make an impact on our program and compete for minutes this coming season after losing a large group of Seniors. We are enthusiastic to see what they can accomplish on the field and in the classroom."

Paul Adukor – Forward – Accra, Ghana – Fr.
Adukor is the latest Ghana-born player to join the Flyers, coming to the U.S. from Accra, Ghana where he attended St. Andrew's Senior High School. The 6-2 striker will look to contribute to the Dayton attack with his size and skill-set.

Martin Bakken – Midfielder – Baerum, Norway – Fr.
Bakken is a Norwegian midfielder born in Denmark and a graduate of Norges Toppidrettsymnas in Norway. Playing mainly as a central midfielder, Bakken led his club team to promotion from Norsk Tipping Ligaen.

Hugo Dicksen – Defender/Midfielder – Orebro, Sweden – Fr.
Dicksen is a versatile playmaker from Sweden and has experience playing left back, center back, and defensive midfield. He played club soccer for Karlslunds IF FK since the age of five from the youth ranks all the way up to the first team. Dicksen was chosen for two Swedish Regional National Youth team camps and played for the All-State team since its inception. A graduate of Grillska Upper Secondary School in Orebro, he earned the highest grades possible and was awarded an academic and athletic scholarship for three straight years.

Kenji Mboma Dem – Midfielder – Mantes-la-Jolie, France – Sr.
Mboma Dem is an attacking midfielder hailing from France and a transfer from the University of Nebraska Omaha. With the Mavericks last season, he started all 16 matches and earned All-Summit Second Team honors. Prior to that, he was All-Summit First Team, All-Summit Newcomer Team, and All-Tournament team. He has made 42 career appearances and brings Division I experience to the Dayton roster.

Hjalti Sigurdsson – Midfielder/Defender – Reykjavik, Iceland – Grad.
Sigurdsson is a versatile player who was named Most Promising Player on the KR first team in 2018 as well as Best Player and Top Goalscorer for the U-19 and U-16 squads. He has 24 youth national team appearances on his resume and was captain of every youth team for KR Reykjavik. Sigurdsson led his club to Icelandic Championships at the U-19 and U-16 levels as well. He totaled 33 games in the Iceland Premier Division and another 38 in the 1.Division.

Alejo Tangredi – Forward – Orlando, Fla. – Fr.
Tangredi is a central striker from Orlando, Fla. and a native of Madrid, Spain. He has previous playing experience at IES Senda Galiana, Bahia Almeria, and IES Montserrat Roig overseas. He graduated from the Florida Virtual School in Orlando this past spring.

Paul Yeboah – Defender – Kumasi, Ghana – So.
Yeboah is a transfer from Baker University in Kansas after graduating from Bankoman Senior High School in Kumasi, Ghana. The 5-11 defender lettered multiple years in high school, typically playing in the center back position. Yeboah is another experienced defender to add depth to the back line for the Flyers.

Adam Zenzen – Midfielder – Stockholm, Sweden – Fr.
Zenzen is a 5-8 midfielder from Sweden where he played club soccer for Taby FK and graduated from Danderyds Gymnasium. Zenzen will compete for a role in the midfield this fall.

The Flyers open up the 2023 season on Aug. 24 at the Ohio State Wolstein Classic against UC Davis.
