The Texas Tech men's track and field team stayed at No. 2 in the country while the women's team fell to No. 17 in the latest rankings released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Tech men claimed their fifth Big 12 outdoor title in program history this past weekend in Norman, Okla., scoring a meet and school record 179 points. They finished 53.5 points ahead of second place Texas. The women totaled 93.5 points to finish fourth overall.

Courtney Lindsey was awarded the "High Point Performer" of the meet as he led the Red Raiders to three first-place finishes – 4x100, 100m and 200m.
