Kansas football coach Les Miles announced that Jake Schoonover has been hired as the program’s special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach. Schoonover brings more than 10 years of coaching experience with him to the Jayhawks.

Oklahoma State’s Cade Cunningham and West Virginia’s Miles McBride shared Big 12 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week while Cunningham was also named Newcomer of the Week. McBride picked up his third honor of the season and fifth in his career. Cunningham has won six awards this season.
