Rich Kelly had 13 points and Wynston Tabbs 12 as Boston College dropped a 90-70 decision on Thursday to Florida in the Roman Legends Classic in Bubbleville at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Boston College junior center fielder Sal Frelick (Lexington, Mass.) was named the ACC Baseball Defensive Player of the Year, as voted on by the league's head coaches. He is the first individual major award winner in the program's 16-year ACC history.
