Coming off of a 43-win season, an NCAA Regional appearance and the 2022 C-USA Tournament Championship title, Louisiana Tech head coach Lane Burroughs announced the Bulldogs 2023 schedule.

The 32-game home schedule at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park includes non-conference matchups against Air Force, Sacramento State and Southern Miss as well as in-state contests against ULM, Northwestern, UL-Lafayette and Nicholls State.

"Once again, we feel we've put together a tremendous and challenging schedule," said Burroughs. "It is exciting to know we will play 32 games at The Love Shack in front of our outstanding fans. This could possibly be one of the most challenging midweek and non-conference schedules we have had since our staff has been at Tech. Take care of business and you put yourself in a great position for a postseason run.

"We will always try and play as good of a schedule as we can and not run from top-notch competition. We want to put our guys in a position to be well prepared, when C-USA play rolls around, as well as postseason. The league will look a little different, but it will still remain one of the best baseball-paying leagues in the country. The quality of players and coaches in our league continues to elevate every year."

The Bulldogs have nine games against 2022 NCAA Tournament teams -- Arkansas, Dallas Baptist, Air Force, UL-Lafayette, Southern Miss, and the College World Series champions Ole Miss.

LA Tech will host a three-game Conference USA series against Charlotte, Dallas Baptist, Florida Atlantic, UAB, and UTSA while also taking on WKU, Rice, Dallas Baptist, Florida Atlantic, and Middle Tennessee in three-game road sets.
