University of Iowa graduate student Daniel Rogers has agreed to terms with the San Francisco Giants pending a physical.

The Grayslake, Illinois, native hit .251 playing in all 54 games this season after transferring from Loras. Rogers notched 43 hits, 11 doubles, one triples, and seven home runs. He plated 42 RBIs and scored 51 runs.

The Hawkeyes closed the 2025 season with a 33-22-1 overall record. Iowa finished third in the Big Ten regular season standings and made their 10th straight Big Ten Tournament appearance.
