Troy head coach Scott Cross has announced that Texas Tech transfer Corbin Green has signed with the Troy men's basketball program for the 2025-26 season.
Green, a 6-5 junior forward from Midlothian, Texas, joins the Trojans after spending the 2024-25 season as a member of the Red Raiders. Prior to that, he spent two seasons at Air Force. He appeared in nine games for Texas Tech last season.
"We are very excited to have Corbin Green fill our last open roster position," Cross said, "Corbin is a big, physical, athletic post player that can block shots on one end of the floor and tear the rim down on the other end. I have known Corbin for years, as he used to attend our basketball camps back when he was in middle school. We are very excited that he has decided to join our program, and we are confident that he has the character and the talent to help us win another championship here at Troy!"
The senior big man played in 36 games over his two years at Air Force, which included 12 starts. In his sophomore season, he played in 12 games, averaging 2.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 11.6 minutes.
Green played in 24 games – starting half of them – during his freshman campaign and finished fourth in the Mountain West with 34 blocks. He scored 6.5 points on a team-best 51.8 percent shooting clip. He recorded a double-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in his first career start against USC-Upstate. Green tied the Air Force record with six blocks in a 15-point performance against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Prior to his collegiate career, Green attended USAFA Prep School in 2021-22 after graduating from high school. While at Midlothian, he was a Dallas-Area District 14-5A MVP, All-Region and helped lead the Trojans to a District Championship.
