The Cincinnati men's basketball team will host Dayton on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, inside Fifth Third Arena to open a home-and-home series between the in-state programs. The Bearcats will make the return trip to UD Arena during the 2026-27 season, with that game's date to be announced at a later time.
The two teams most recently faced off in a pair of games at Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. The Flyers took the first meeting, 82-68, with the Bearcats claiming last season's contest by a 66-59 final.
The neutral-site matchups were the first meetings between the programs since 2010. The series spans 92 all-time games dating back to 1907. Cincinnati has only faced Miami (OH) (149 meetings) and Louisville (100 meetings) more often than it has faced Dayton. Dayton's visit to Fifth Third Arena will be its first since March 2010––an NIT matchup won by the Flyers. Cincinnati's forthcoming trip to UD Arena will be its first since 2004––a 65-55 UC victory.
