Colorado State men's basketball and Loyola Chicago will begin a home-and-home series starting in the 2025-26 season, the two programs announced.
The series begins with the Rams heading to the Windy City in 2025 before the Ramblers come to Moby Arena in 2026.
"The opportunity to start a home and home series with Loyola Chicago was something we didn't want to pass up," head coach Ali Farokhmanesh said. "Our yearly goal is to create a tough non-conference schedule that tests our team while building a quality NCAA Tournament resume. To add an opponent and program like Loyola Chicago to our schedule for multiple years is a positive step in achieving that goal."
CSU and Loyola Chicago have squared off against each other three times previously, with the Rams holding a 2-1 advantage. Colorado State won the most recent matchup between the two programs in 2019, 61-60, in the Cayman Islands Classic. The two programs have not visited each other's campuses since the late 1960s.
The series features two of college basketball's top up-and-coming head coaches in Ali Farokhmanesh and Drew Valentine.
Colorado State is coming off its third NCAA Tournament appearance in four years after winning the Mountain West Tournament in 2025, while Loyola Chicago has competed in the NIT for the past two seasons.
